The B6 Passat Wagon with the manual. There used to be an alright amount of these, now they’re pretty much all gone. Is it for the better? Maybe. Is there a part of me that regrets not buying what is likely a reliability nightmare? Yes.

I could drive it into a slough if it got bad enough. And a lot of these dealerships do a “drag a car in, we’ll give you at least $1000 for it”, so it’s almost worth the loss.

That’s ok because you have a lot of better options up there. You got quite a few 7-passenger manual fun cars. You have the Kia Rondo, Mazda 5, and Chevy Orlando. If you don’t need the third row, there’s also the Mercedes B-class and Echo hatchback.
